Common Questions
The most common things users ask about.

🔑 API key not working?

Make sure you pasted the full key with no extra spaces. Anthropic keys start with sk-ant and ElevenLabs keys are shorter alphanumeric strings. Check your spending limits at console.anthropic.com.

🎤 No voices loading?

Make sure you have added voices to your ElevenLabs library first. Go to elevenlabs.io, click Voices, browse the library, and click Add to My Voices on at least one voice before loading.

⏸️ Audio stuck generating?

This usually means your ElevenLabs credits ran out. Check your usage at elevenlabs.io. You can remove your intro and outro files and try again, or wait until your credits reset.

📧 Confirmation email not arriving?

Check your spam or junk folder. Look for an email from hello@qpsstudio.com. Add this address to your contacts to prevent future emails going to spam.

💳 How do I cancel my subscription?

Go to your Dashboard and click your account icon in the top right. Select Cancel Plan. Your subscription cancels immediately and you move to the free trial tier.

🔄 How do I upgrade my plan?

Go to your Dashboard and click Upgrade Plan from the account dropdown or scroll to the pricing section. Your new plan activates immediately after payment.

📊 Why does my episode count not reset?

Episode counts reset automatically on the first day of each billing month. If your count seems wrong email us and we will check your account.

🎵 Can I use my own music?

Yes — upload any MP3 or WAV file in the Setup tab as your intro or outro. Make sure you have the rights to use any music you upload.

What is Quick Podcast Studio? ▼
Quick Podcast Studio is an AI powered podcast production platform. You enter a topic, AI writes your script, professional AI voices bring it to life, and you get a complete episode — audio, video, and SEO content — in under 30 minutes.
Do I need a microphone? ▼
No. AI voices handle all the speaking. You never have to record yourself unless you want to. Pro plan users can record their own voice as a fallback when ElevenLabs credits run out.
What are API keys and why do I need them? ▼
API keys connect QPS to Anthropic (for script writing) and ElevenLabs (for voices). Both services offer generous free tiers. You pay each service directly based on your usage — typically less than $1 per episode. QPS never charges you for API usage.
How much does it cost per episode? ▼
A typical 10-15 minute episode costs between $0.15 and $0.50 in API costs on top of your QPS subscription. Script generation costs about $0.02-0.05 via Anthropic. Voice generation costs about $0.10-0.30 via ElevenLabs depending on episode length.
Can I cancel anytime? ▼
Yes. Cancel anytime from your dashboard. Your subscription cancels immediately and you move to the free trial tier with 1 episode per month at no charge. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods.
Is the AI content accurate? ▼
Claude AI produces excellent scripts but you should always review content before publishing. AI can occasionally make errors on specific facts, statistics, or recent events. You are responsible for verifying content accuracy before publishing.
How do I publish to Spotify and Apple Podcasts? ▼
QPS produces your MP3 file. To publish on Spotify and Apple Podcasts you need a podcast hosting platform like Buzzsprout or Transistor. Upload your QPS-generated MP3 there and they handle distribution to all major platforms. Check the Launch Your Podcast section in the Export tab for our recommended hosts.
What is the affiliate program? ▼
